The CPU is not an issue, it’s the SSDs. Chia mining (or more precisely the creation of plots to farm Chia) is a write-heavy process that will literally wear out SSDs. It might be worth noting that Hetzner is known to use consumer hardware for some of their lower tier offerings and consumer SSDs usually have a relatively low TBW (Terabyte written) rating. |
