I can echo this exactly - 16GB RAM M1 MacBook Air, runs like a dream except for Android development, which is sluggish and downright broken. I can't even compile some APKs - I can't use an ARM JDK, and rosetta 2 fails during compilation, so I've got a separate laptop just for Android dev, which is less than ideal. Other than that, no complaints! A fanless, performant laptop is a dream. |
