Aren't psychiatrists the people who prescribe children and teenagers drugs for imaginary "medical conditions" that are in fact complex and nebulous emotional/behavioral/mood issues that we have no understanding of at a biochemical level and indeed doubtless can never be fully characterized at a biochemical level due to the complexities of the human mind? It's lovely that you think of psychiatry as concerned with biochemistry, but that is the problem that I am referring to. |
