So what are we supposed to do about it? Work less? Lol.

Once upon a time, working hours was 9 to 5. Even Dolly Parton sang about how exasperating working just those hours was. Now it's usually 830 to 530 because lunch is no longer included in those hours. That's pretty much 20 hours a month of additional work that wasn't required until recently.

Then people still get stuck answering work emails and texts, and "just finishing up that document" etc, when they get home.

We could start looking back to what were considered normal working hours, and the solid separation of work and home life that existed just a few decades ago.
