Ask HN: Tool to create personal Wayback Machine

I would like to create local archive of certain websites/webpages like interesting articles I read in a way that I can later read them in case they are deleted. Wayback Machine is great but I would like to have more control over the files. Are there any good Chrome extensions or software that I could install to make it as easy as possible to store websites/webpages.

ArchiveBox has already been mentioned, but you should also check out some of the other projects mentioned in the wiki here:

https://pinboard.in/ is one, but it's paid.
...the archiveteam wiki might have some approaches that might fit your use case.

Then there is always HTTrack.
