This is an interesting dynamic I noticed when living in China, too. There are no "good" or "bad" areas, only "rich" and "poor". If you're a student/minimum-wage worker who can only afford to live in certain areas, you're not forced to deal with the crime/drugs/general shitheads you usually encounter in the "bad" areas in the West. |
