You must ask a)how many children are killed in a "normal" operation of this scale? b)how accurate are the numbers, who's reporting them? c)Is it likely that in reality, many of these children were killed by Hamas rockets, that malfunctioned and fell within their own territory?

I would hesitate to categorically accept these figures from Hamas.

al-Ghad TV has been broadcasting live from al-Shifa hospital 24/7 since this started. There's no indication anyone but doctors, nurses and coroners are doing the counting. The burden of proof would be on you. There's also quite a bit of evidence in the form of amatuer photos and videos. Several news teams have been to the morgue as well.
