That's been obvious to me since I was about 14
yo, roughly 30 years. They're like fortune tellers, financial advisors, osteopathic "medicine" DO's, faith healers, life coaches, water diviners, cryogenics, solar freakin roadways, and "alternative" medicine. People will believe in anything, especially false hope for the impossible, saving a buck, or a shortcut. |
