Offline? I think we've almost lost the capability to deploy and run software without an always on network. I maintain an "allowlist" for various things, and people really expect to be able to hit random endpoints to deploy. Even the security monitoring stack needs to have external IPs reachable from the otherwise most locked down networks. |
