Is that really true? More than twice as much meat as, say, the Australians, Germans and Argentinians? update: According to http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/datablog/2009/sep/02/m... your implausible-sounding numbers are wrong. In fact US meat consumption (at least as of 2002) is in line with the other agriculturally-rich Western countries, and well behind Denmark and New Zealand. (Australia is missing from the statistics.) |
