Have you seen how many Javascript dev there are out there? I wish I was kidding, but I don't remember the last time a CV crossed my desk that didn't have JS as a core ability or at least mentioned in passing. And that's for non-webdev roles. Data analysts and BI is what we've been hiring for lately. And it seems like everyone these days likes to dabble at the weekend in some JS.
