Absolutely not true. I've know at least a dozen people that have gotten medical degrees, albeit on student loans. Working hard is the baseline, having a wealthy family helps with the financing aspects but not necessary. You could have tons of wealth, but still unable to attain medical degree if you don't work hard. It's just an analogy. The main point is that most pieces are built by people, they don't just fall off the sky. |
