M1 macs can be had for $999, and they can even be bought with cheap financing options to convert it to a monthly payment. Maybe there’s a market for people stuck on old computers but whose companies still spring for super fast internet and $50/month SaaS bills per user instead of just spending that same money (or less) financing the laptops they actually need, but it would be a small market. |
