The big advantage of Firefox Send was that it was hosted by Mozilla, and I could trust that Mozilla wouldn't have any backdoor in the service. When the same project is hosted by someone that I don't know, I can't be sure that they won't modify it to peek at the files (I'm not going to perform a full code audit on every page load). |
