Now that I think about it, perhaps it is like traffic. When they add more roads, the amount of traffic stays the same. There is a certain tolerance/threshold we can endure for traffic. In this same way, we can tolerate a certain amount of lagginess in our computers. The hardware will get faster and faster, but the relative interface performance will remain the same. |
