after i read "discipline beats motivation"[1] i realized my biggest problem with personal projects were exactly lack of discipline, awaiting for the motivation to come by itself. Now i have a large paper calendar in front of me, where i mark with a large red "F" ( Failure ) every day i don't spend my allocated 1 hour on my pet projects.
