This seems like a fun, educational project, yet I am surprised to see this on the front page of HN given that the article is - at its core - promotional material for Twilio and was submitted by “Director of Developer Content @ Twilio”. We surely do not need Twilio or Airtable to send data to displays/monitors/screens.

I was fine with that, until the moment I realized that the video showing the end product described in that short article was hosted on a social network reserving access to users. Too bad. Oh well.

I went into this just fine because 1) it isn't a Show HN, 2) the domain is obviously twilio.com.

But the instagram login gated video annoyed me.
