I think it is a good move for Fedora, especially because they stick to the latest kernel releases. Something like ZFS is probably technically superior for a file server, but for a Linux workstation Btrfs is best option, IMO. Anecdotally, I've been running Btrfs for over five years with zero problems. And it has saved me from data corruption multiple times. |
