What is suggested in the article will never fly with the capitalism crowd (USA). It is too easy to point at it and say "equality of outcome". I used to be like this myself until I saw with my own eyes the cronyism at play in hiring and compensation. The day I stopped believing that SV is or could be a meritocracy was a sad one indeed. |
