For me, the consistency with JavaScript's existing syntax is a great advantage of TypeScript. TypeScript's "allowJs" flag also makes it easier to convert an existing codebase. ReScript seems to have come a long way since I last looked at it (it was just called ReasonML at the time I think), so it'd be worth looking into. |
