Reminds me of the death of Harry Houdini. He used to boast that his stomach could take a punch to the gut. So one day backstage, a McGill student asked him if they could punch him. He said yes, but they landed 4 punches quickly before he had time to steel himself. He looked like he was in immense pain...and then died of appendicitis a few days later. He said that he hadn’t expected the student to punch so quickly. Stupid amateurs. |
