I agree with this sentiment. Though there is of course a bit of a problem when you're dealing with people who don't. I'd also highlight that when the big players go down people 'know' it's not your fault, when a small 3rd party provider goes down taking part of your service with it it's 'because you didn't do due diligence' or were trying to save a buck. Similar in a way to the anachronism 'no one got fired for buying IBM' |
