I think they could find a good middle ground. Since macOS can run iOS apps on M1 devices, why not allow it to be installed on the iPad as-is? Let users choose between iPadOS for the tablet experience, or macOS for the "full" experience. Of course just saying this out loud sounds ridiculous considering that Apple is Apple but hey, we can dream. :) |
