Its one thing to deal with rare losses, but a lot of competitive gamers seem really unhappy trying to deal with constant loss and feelings of powerlessness or low status. Its not something you can be average in any more. I worry those kind of games will eventually mirror rl sports, where we have a professional class and a majority of watchers. |
