Gender differences only become useful when you're talking about fairly sizable populations. If your company is only 50 people, the individual personalities are far stronger in effect than gender differences. In short, it doesn't matter if "gender A performs better" if a few of the members of gender A you have play vicious office politics. Individual differences swamp gender differences - the latter only come into play when populations are large. |
