That's just not true. Ethanol is ketone and is fine for diets like keto. It does not spike insulin. The problem is that most alcohol isn't regulated the same way food is, and there is often a ton of sugar in it that is not required to be labelled. Beer, for example, has tons of carbs, and Captain Morgan is fulla sugar. |
