Seconding grandparent's assessment. The speaking style in the video is very similar to Deutsche Welle broadcasts that I used to watch in uni. Not sure if this style happens organically when native German speakers master English or if it's a deliberate choice like the Transatlantic Accent of early 20th century American actors. |
