It wasn't just a feeling. I live less than 8 miles from a major oil refinery in the US, and that fact is always in the back of my mind. I would much prefer to live at least 15 miles from anything worth nuking. (I do not consider the end of the Cold War to have been the end of the risk of nuclear war.) |
