Came to say something very similar. While having a prominent call to action button makes sense, the call to action is basically ALL I see when I land on an iPhone. There’s 0 chance I will click a button without some enticement as to what the service is about. And given that it’s a site aimed at helping you sell yourself or your work to people, then the first thing we would want to see is a very compelling sales pitch. E.g., make the site a resume for itself. “See how beautifully this site is being sold to you? Imagine doing that for yourself / your stuff!” |
