It's weird complaining that you can't see details in the album art anymore, when in terms of raw size and resolution the art on a newer iPhone today is larger than it was on an iPod Touch in 2012 even if it doesn't stretch all the way to the edge of the screen. I personally like Spotify's approach to evolving album art, where artists can use full-screen video clips or other visualizations (mostly taken from their music videos). |
