I disagree with a lot of what was said here especially now as new languages are starting to stray away from the same C++/Java pattern of doing things. New tools can provide new and better ways of solving old problems. That being said I feel like this entire article was written for a co-worker of his who won't stfu about his favorite new language that changes every 6 months.
