Your first paragraph is white washed. The “radical” parts of the civil rights movement weren’t swept under the rug. In comparison to what? Who MLK really was appears to be swept under the rug here. As said in other comments, it does sound like you’re saying the, among other things, centrist / status quo wanting of people to sit down and be quiet. |
