“Google Project Zero maintains public policies around vulnerability publication and attribution” Would be an accurate headline. Assigning to Google the act of shutting down counterterrorism is highly misleading and purely for emotive effect. Explaining to those who may not be experts what some of the consequences of aforementioned policies are, which they might find surprising, would be educational. Obviously it worked: we read it and came hear to comment :(
