Spring was released 19 years ago. MySQL was released 26 years ago. It's not such a big difference as you're claiming, especially since MySQL really took off around version 4 or so. I'm not sure you can put Spring in the same category with Angular, plus Spring definitely filled (fills?) a niche that's useful: pre-built components for Java, especially for enterprise development. |
