Every problem can be modeled as an instance of a class of problems. This can be useful, but it does also detract from this specific instance of a totalitarian ideological attack on a specific community. In game theory the 'punish those that do not actively join in punishing outsiders' is a requirement for group stability, and it has been a staple tactic in every totalitarian regime. |
