Ask HN: How does Stripe Press make their books?

All of their books are beautiful, in terms of the typography, cover, coloring, and paper quality. Does Stripe produce the books themselves, or do they use some external vendor who prints for them? If one wanted to print a book of similar quality, how would one go about it?
