Not sure exactly how it was done in this case, but the first sample (the "amen break" - you can look it up) is one of the most sampled tracks ever. There are documentaries about it. I imagine that many people who work with samples and production and deconstructing would develop an ear for it. Similar for rapper's delight too I imagine. |
