Hey HN,

Danilo here, Co-Founder of Scena 360 (https://links.scena360.com/ImdC13) and Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo.

Today, I'm super excited to announce that we just launched some monumental upgrades to the Scena 360 Platform. Now, users can meet up with up to 25 people/space for $0 and up to 100 people/space for only $20/month.

We made these upgrades to give attendees more freedom to "run into" each other and let them hold separate group conversations without managing awkward and inorganic breakout rooms!

We're able do so without relying on any centralized media servers by ensuring that users connect to nearby folks based on proximity via WebRTC (peer-to-peer). Consequently, this makes audio, video, chat, etc. more private than most other offerings out there (that have the ability to record/leak calls).

We know that there are plenty of "spatial" video calling apps out there, and since day 1, we've been working hard to remain special:

- We're 3D-based which lets us provide a more IRL/immersive experience than 2D variants - We have built-in realistic, professional, and customizable avatars as I personally hate having my camera turned on in video conferences (as many do by now). - Greater focus on privacy - No meetup duration limits - Fastest onboarding experience: No downloads, VR headsets, or accounts necessary

Right now, Scena 360 is perfect for team socials, networking sessions, meetups and many other events that Zoom simply can't accommodate

We'll also roll out some more realistic and professional scenes in the next couple of days! Since our previous posts on HN, we've also made some major UX enhancements!
