Why?

Implanting things on body is a hassle. Body's immune system fights against it. After certain number of years we have to change its battery.

I can imagine people implanting phones or OS but contactless payment implant. A retinal implant.. But we still dont know so much about how our body actually work.

Also its like implanting a chip that controls toilet seat when you want to pee.. Ya you could do it but dude really??

Batteries can be charged wirelessly, secondly you do not need power for NFC, thats why contactless cards work without battery

But lastly, there is a sort of convenience to never forgetting your wallet.

I am 100% sure it will become a thing. I am much less certain that its a good idea - who will control it? Can you turn it off? What kind of fraud and crime will it enable?
