It probably would've cost Rockstar at least $100k in employee time to have one of their teams find, debug, and fix the issue. The extra time can now be spent playing the game instead of waiting, increasing revenue. So relatively speaking, it's a low payout for a huge company like Rockstar to give on their game grossing billions. |
