It looks like the point of the limescale filter in the picture is for keeping the limescale IN the kettle, and preventing chunks of limescale from pouring out of the kettle and into your teacups. Anything else, it'd be utterly useless for. Well, yeah. That's exactly what it's for. The kettle I'm using right now has one and that's exactly what it's for. |
