Ok, it maybe describes the galaxies rotational curves, actually a few other theories about modified newtonian dynamics are capable of doing that too.. However it doesnt explain the bullet cluster, structure formation or the power spectrum of the CMB

But the explanation is just general relativity... I mean, what does it matter if some other ad hoc theory can explain it too? In my book, if GR explains it that’s the end of it. Sure there may still be a ton of stuff that requires explanation and where dark matter may be a possible explanation, but what can be attributed to GR shall not be attributed to some ad hoc fudge factor.

I am just wondering: if GR explains the rotation curve, how can GR still explain the shapiro delay or lensing?
