Should we really put the kids back into situations like this?

“ But Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, Alice Springs Deputy Mayor and director of the Indigenous research program at the Centre for Independent Studies slammed the decision.

'This is an ongoing issue with Territory Families being very quick to return children to circumstances that could potentially, once again, be very dangerous,' she said.

'Territory Families is more concerned with the reunification with family as opposed to, I believe, upholding the human rights of these children. Ultimately it’s race-based discrimination against children because they’re Indigenous.'”

Yes, one anecdote of aboriginal neglect justifies wholesale removal of children from their families and ancestral traditions which have existed for millennia.

What kind of bizarre logic is this? Would you deploy the same logic if I found you an instance of child abuse for a "non-aboriginal" family in Australia?

Well, I’m sure you can find Almost unlimited examples of child neglect in any culture, you changed the subject from the original article and brought this up. Also your comment is just whataboutism, reminiscent of a 50-cent stooge. It’s obvious that China’s concern is manufactured and part of an ongoing disinformation and economic campaign. All I did was find a contemporaneous example, that included a supporting quote from an indigenous community leader and elected politician, that shows this particular situation that you drew a false equivalence to, is not simply reduced to “black and white.”
