Free speech is the principle that the first amendment attempts to establish, but its not the same thing as free speech itself- any party using their power to restrict the exchange of information does so in opposition to free speech. Amazon has not violated the first amendment, but they have violated free speech. It is not illegal to do so, but people often agree and disagree with actions on bases other than legality. |
