I am a dumb American. I didn't even know Box Lacrosse was a thing. We only have field lacrosse here.
lol. All of my favourite box lacrosse players had to go play box lacrosse in the US to actually make some money. You have a National Lacrosse League. Although I just checked, and there are a bunch more Canadian teams in that league than there used to be. At one point in the mid 2000s, 12 of the 14 teams were US based.
There are differences between indoor box hockey up in Canada and the open field variety more common in the US (both countries play both of course)
Field hockey is present in the US, but ice hockey is far more popular. This article is about the US/Canadian top-level ice hockey league... I can't say I've ever heard of professional field hockey play in the US, much less a nation-wide league.
