Word. IIRC, Microsoft acquired CompareNet for $400m in 1999. Scripts for scrapping prices. Written in Perl. I always get stuck on the little questions. Like: Does it work? Is idea worth doing? How big is the market? (I mention CompareNet because I had some contact with one of the founders. It's my IRL example that I never figured out how to play this game.) |
