That 20 year old unpublished paper was challenged by at least one NASA scientist. I am still hungry for understanding here.

It wasn’t “challenged” by that scientist, the scientist provided additional information about the newer state of the art.

More to the point, if you are enough of a grown up to critically analyze the validity of an article and won’t be satisfied until you get something peer reviewed, then you are enough of a grownup to do your own research. Again the science and high accuracy of radioactive dating is very well-established. Generally the only people who disagree with it are cranks who believe Adam and Eve happened 10,000 years ago.
