These kinds of discussions are futile yes. It's been well over 10 years and the only change in this discussion is the introduction of racial and gender discrimination, whereas 10 years ago the focus was on age discrimination. I'd be happy to hear alternative approaches to conducting a technical interview, but no one presents any. There are 100 comments in this topic and hardly any discussion of what a good hiring process would look like. |
