They're probably referring to stuff like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Kunming_attack I remember after 9/11 there were paranoid fears that the US was going to do extreme things like round up all Muslims and put them in internment camps, etc. China's actually pursuing a policy not too different from those fears. |
