No. Scrum is a horrible way of working that disempowers developers, silos them away from stakeholders and customers, and prioritises middle management over product designers. Its only selling point is the juxtaposition against the straw man “Waterfall”. Scrum is incompatible with Agile principles. |

Regarding Waterfall, it's not a strawman. I've witnessed many Waterfall projects over the years at my offices. Two of the most spectacular were planned on the order of 5 years, one failing spectacular, the other only "succeeding" because the follow-on project was started 2 years into it and still had 2 years remaining, so they deployed the completed one.
They really did follow the moronic linear flow Royce said doesn't work (at scale). The spectacular failure was billions of dollars worth of work wasted as it turned out they didn't build what was needed. Another project was started to replace it before they even finished testing and deployment.
